What exactly are YouTube Shorts? Are they really shorts at all? Are they really short videos? Well, I’ve been on YouTube for about 5 years now and have never seen these so called YouTube Shorts, so when I found one on my own channel I decided to do some research to find out what’s actually going on with these things and why I haven’t heard of them before.
YouTube Shorts is a new feature on the platform
YouTube is rolling out a new feature called YouTube Shorts that lets you share videos of up to 30 seconds long. These videos are meant to be a shorter and more shareable way of telling your story. This is great news for creators who may want to create short, snappy content that can be consumed quickly. Plus, the video will show up in search results, meaning it'll get more views than ever before.
YouTube Shorts allows creators to upload videos that are up to 60 seconds long
YouTube Shorts is a new video service that allows creators to upload videos up to 60 seconds long. It's perfect for telling quick stories and sharing bite-sized experiences. Unlike other video platforms, there are no limits on the number of videos you can upload or minutes you can add, plus viewers will be able to watch your videos without ads.
The videos can be edited directly in the YouTube app
YouTube has introduced a new type of video called YouTube shorts which you can edit in the app. The process is as simple as picking your favorite clips and arranging them into a story. You can add an intro and outro, text overtop to help viewers understand what they're watching, and even make it interactive with questions or polls.
YouTube Shorts also has a music library with millions of songs
YouTube Shorts is a great place to watch the latest and greatest music videos from artists like Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and Justin Bieber. It also has exclusive behind-the-scenes content for artists like Lady Gaga that you won't find anywhere else.
YouTube Shorts is still in beta, but you can sign up to be a part of it
YouTube Shorts is a new video hosting service for content that is shorter than 10 minutes. The idea is to make it easier for content creators to produce videos on their own terms. As of now, the service is still in beta, but you can sign up to be a part of it. To date, there are only a few hundred channels live on the site, and they don't have the variety of content or user base that you might see on other video hosting sites.
